Ingredients:
8oz heavy whipping cream
2 Tbsp Butter
1 tsp olive oil
1/4th a grated yellow onion
3 garlic cloves
½ cup of freshly grated Parmesan
½ tsp nutmeg
salt
pepper
Directions:
In a medium sauce pan add olive oil and butter, once the butter is melted add 3 cloves of finely minced garlic, grated onion ( aproximately 1/8th a cup), and a dash of salt and pepper, saute on medium heat until the onion is translucent.
Next add in whipping cream and bring up to a light simmer, then stir in Parmesan and nutmeg stirring until full combined. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve over your favorite pasta or vegetables.
